Delete your account
You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time. There is no form to fill in and no account to sign into — one email is enough.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email gary@pinkham-software.com with the subject "Delete my account" and include your in-game handle. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
Where to find your in-game handle
It is shown on the market screen, under the name of the city you are currently in. It is the only thing that identifies your account to us, so please include it — an account is anonymous and there is no email address or username attached to it for us to look you up by.
What gets deleted
Your account and all associated data — your handle, your cash and holdings, your trade history, your city memberships, and any city you founded. We delete it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain records longer.
Deletion is permanent. There is no restore, and a deleted handle does not carry any progress forward if you start playing again later.
What we hold in the first place
Not much, and none of it is a real-world identity. Accounts are anonymous: you do not need a real name or an email address to play. What we store is what the game needs to run — an anonymous account ID, your in-game handle, your trade history, your holdings, and which cities you are in. The Privacy Policy sets out the full list and why each part exists.
